The doctor prescribed me an antibiotic and ibuprofen 400 mg to treat my angina. When I went to the pharmacy to collect the medications, the pharmacist gave them to me without question. However, the next day I decided to research more about ibuprofen and found out that it is strongly not recommended for infections like ear infections and tonsillitis, as it could potentially make the situation worse by spreading the infections. bacteria. The result of this medical error was that, even after following the prescriptions, I continued to experience intense pain for several days. I would like to emphasize that both the doctor and the pharmacist were completely pleasant and professional, but it is unacceptable that such errors can occur.
